|Missy , dental hygienist. Missy was born and raised in Henrico Virginia and graduated from VCU’s 2019 Dental Hygiene Class. She fell in love with dental hygiene after volunteering at Mission of Mercy Projects and a local free health clinic. While in school, she served as Vice President of her class and Vice President of SCADHA. Missy was also selected to be a student delegate at VDHA’s House of Delegates in 2018 and returned as a delegate in 2019. Missy is active secretary with the Greater Richmond Dental Hygiene Component through the Virginia Dental Hygiene Association. For fun, she enjoys camping, going to the beach, and going out to eat with friends. Missy is obsessed with her goofy Husky, Marley, and her spunky kitten, Sampson. As her clinical skills expand, she hopes to some day be adjunct faculty at VCU’s DH program to help mentor students to be successful and remain involved in their field!|
|Wendy, dental hygienist, was born and raised in New Jersey. She attended Old Dominion University where she received her bachelor of Dental Hygiene degree in 1996. She lived and worked in the Tidewater and Williamsburg area until 2009. She and her husband Ryan transferred up to the Richmond area and currently reside in the Chesterfield area with their lovable silver lab, Sterling. She has worked with Dr. Circeo for 16 years. In 2010, she completed the Local Anesthetic and Nitrous Oxide Certificate training at MCV. After a long day of work, she enjoys running/walking with Sterling and working out. She has completed 4 half marathons! But most of all she loves spending time with her husband along with traveling to see their family members in Northern Virginia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and New Hampshire.|
|Shirley, dental hygienist, (Retired) has been in practice since July of 1989. In May 1989, she received her dental hygiene degree from Youngstown University in Ohio. She worked four years in Pennsylvania prior to her husband’s job bringing her to Virginia. She began working with Dr. Johnson in March of 1993 and joined our office in March of 2013. She has two children, Kelly and Doug. Each of her children has blessed her with a grandson, Bradley 11, and Derrik 8. Shirley also has a step granddaughter Alyssa who is 9.|
|Alison, dental assistant, was born and raised in the Lakeside area. She is Dr. Circeo’s dental assistant and has been with the practice since 2004. She has worked in the dental field for over 20 years. Her experience includes general dental assisting as well as orthodontic assisting. Alison’s warm compassionate nature puts her patients at ease. Alison lives in King William with her husband Paul, two dogs and one cat. They have a son, a daughter and two grandchildren. Alison enjoys relaxing on her porch and during warm weather she spends time with her family around the pool.|
|Kelly, treatment coordinator, is a native of the Lakeside area and graduated from Hermitage High School in 1982. She has worked in the dental field since 1985. Kelly’s first 15 years were spent assisting some of the best oral surgeons in the Richmond area. Kelly now enjoys working the administrative side of dentistry. In August 2000, Kelly acquired the position of Insurance/Billing Coordinator for Dr. Circeo’s practice. She feels that patients appreciate having an advocate to help them with insurance problems and solutions. Kelly has 2 children. Her daughter Monica is artistic director of Momentum Dance Center in Hanover County. Her son Adam is recent graduate of George Mason University with a BA in Communications. Kelly lives in Mechanicsville with her fiancé Bobby and his two children Robert and Abbey. Together, they enjoy cooking, wine tasting, and camping.|
|Cindy, receptionist, is new to the dental field, but has extensive experience in Office Management. Cindy is a Mechanicsville native and lives there with her husband Brian and their daughter Rachel. Rachel attends Stonewall Jackson Middle School and is an honor roll student. Cindy enjoys cooking, researching food & wine orgins, and reading as well as supporting Rachel in her Chorus and Theater Arts pursuits in school.|
